Oksla power plant

Oksla power plant is located in Tyssedal in Odda Municipality, Vestland County.

The power plant uses a height of fall of 465 metres from Lake Ringedalsvannet, which is regulated by Ringedalsdammen.

Development of this site came about as a result of premature reversion to state ownership and closure of Tysso I power plant that was built in 1908 and is today a protected heritage site.

Oksla plant was commissioned in 1980 and has one Francis turbine producing 210 MW.
